Pedro Rodríguez (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1987) proves timeless. The former Barcelona star continues to shine as he approaches his 39th birthday.
The Spanish international came off the bench at halftime, replacing Boulaye Dia with Lazio trailing 0-1. He proved decisive in helping Lazio salvage a 3-3 draw against Udinese.
In the 80th minute, Pedro delivered a trademark goal. Receiving the ball from Basic outside the area, he curled a stunning right-footed shot into the far corner. It was his fourth Serie A goal of the season, a true golazo.
Udinese turned the match around with a brace from Arthur Atta in the 86th and 93rd minutes. But Pedro had one more trick up his sleeve. Deep into stoppage time, in the 95th minute, he sent a powerful cross-shot that deflected off Daniel Maldini and into the net, making it 3-3.
A point stayed at the Stadio Olimpico, but the draw benefits neither side much. Lazio sit eighth, 13 points behind Roma, who occupy the final European spot. Udinese remain 11th with 44 points, comfortably mid-table.
