Ferran Jutglà once again missed a golden opportunity to leave Balaídos with cheers as a two-goal hero against the opposing side. Just as in the match against Alavés, the Catalan striker left the stadium in frustration, along with his teammates, but with even more reason since his goals proved useless. The Celta forward now has nine league goals in his debut season in Vigo.

“The feeling is poor because we’ve been overturned again in a match we led twice. I think we could have done more as a team on Levante’s goals,” lamented the Celta striker, who scored both goals at the start of the first and second halves, putting the sky-blue team ahead.

The Catalan attacker explained after another home defeat that Celta began “very well” both halves, which is why he cannot find an explanation for what followed: “Maybe we disconnected in specific plays, and that is costing us dearly.”

Jutglà also does not understand why his team is struggling so much to win at Balaídos, making them the second-worst home side in the league, only behind an already-relegated Oviedo.

“I don’t know why it’s so much harder for us here. I think we have many reasons to be happy with our play, but it’s true that we are not closing out matches, and that is costing us points that today would allow us to secure European qualification,” Jutglà recalled.

“Bad feelings—they’ve come from behind to beat us in yet another match,” he said, referring to his emotions after the game against Levante, who arrived in Vigo as the second-to-last team in La Liga.

“They’ve come from behind against us in a match where we were ahead twice. We could have done more as a team on their goals, and that’s why I feel bad. I can’t explain Levante’s comeback. We started both halves very well, and then I don’t know what happened,” the Catalan forward continued.

Jutglà called for moving on from this setback: “I’m happy to help the team, but what I want is to win, and I’m leaving sad. Clean slate—we have two finals left.”
