Published on: 2026-05-12 | Author: admin

We are hosting a live talk event titled “Teach Us, [Name]” where former professional athletes share memories of their playing days, life after retirement, and their current activities. For this edition, we welcome Shugo Fujii, who played for the Yakult Swallows, Nippon-Ham Fighters, Yomiuri Giants, and Yokohama DeNA BayStars.

After retiring as a player, Fujii served as a batting practice pitcher for the Giants and a public relations officer for DeNA. He later took on roles as general manager, manager, and pitching coach for the Osaka Zero Roku Blues. This year, he began working at the company “R-Space.”

During the event, Fujii will chat with Kengo Kubo, a Nikkan Sports journalist who has covered him since his Giants days, and answer questions from the audience. The talk will be held via Zoom Webinar, so participants’ faces and voices will not be shown. This is a free special broadcast.
